Aim
Rashad: Journal of Islamic Economic Decision Sciences is an international journal dedicated to advancing the understanding of Islamic economic decision-making by exploring how individuals, organizations, institutions, and societies make economic choices within ethical, social, technological, and religious contexts. The journal aims to publish high-quality interdisciplinary research that integrates Islamic economic principles with behavioral decision science, analytical approaches, and contemporary perspectives to enhance understanding of economic behavior, strategic choices, financial decisions, and sustainable economic transformation.
 
The journal seeks to promote research that contributes to theoretical advancement, methodological innovation, and practical solutions by examining the relationships among Islamic values, behavioral factors, technological developments, economic systems, and decision outcomes. A common thread across the journal’s focus areas is the exploration of how decision-oriented approaches can support responsible consumption, ethical finance, inclusive economic participation, organizational development, and sustainable Islamic economic ecosystems.
 
Scope
The journal welcomes original research employing quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, computational, systematic review, bibliometric analysis, meta-analysis, conceptual review, and other innovative methodologies that contribute to advancing Islamic Economic Decision Sciences.
 
The scope covers three broad areas:
  1. Behavioral decision-making in Islamic economic contexts;
  2. Technological and analytical transformation of Islamic economic systems;
  3. Strategic, organizational, and social decision processes.
These include research on halal consumption decisions, Islamic finance adoption, Islamic fintech, investment behavior, zakat and waqf participation, behavioral Islamic economics, artificial intelligence, business analytics, governance, innovation, and sustainable economic development. The journal welcomes contributions from diverse Islamic economic contexts, including consumers, businesses, financial institutions, social organizations, and policy environments.
