About the Journal
Rashad: Journal of Islamic Economic Decision Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing Islamic economics through the lens of behavioral decision science and contemporary analytical approaches. The journal repositions Islamic economics as a decision-oriented discipline by examining how individuals, organizations, and institutions make economic choices within ethical, social, technological, and religious contexts.
The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research integrating Islamic economic principles with decision sciences, behavioral economics, management, information systems, and analytics. It focuses on evidence-based studies exploring decision processes in halal consumption, Islamic finance, Islamic fintech adoption, zakat and waqf participation, sustainable Islamic business practices, ethical investment behavior, and the digital transformation of Islamic economic institutions.
Rashad encourages innovative methodologies, including structural equation modeling, experimental approaches, artificial intelligence, machine learning, bibliometric analysis, configurational methods, and other analytical techniques. Through this positioning, the journal aims to bridge Islamic economic scholarship with global discussions on behavioral decisions, innovation, and sustainable economic development, maintaining a strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
