Author Guidelines

Rashad: Journal of Islamic Economic Decision Sciences welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of Islamic economics through behavioral decision science and contemporary analytical approaches.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for ensuring their work meets the following standards:
  • Originality & Ethics: The submission must be original, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration elsewhere. Research involving human subjects must have approval from an appropriate ethics committee.
  • Formatting: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, single-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, with a maximum length of 25 pages (including references, tables, and figures).
  • Citation Style: All references must strictly follow the APA 7th edition citation style.
  • Anonymization: For our double-anonymous peer review process, the main manuscript file must be fully anonymized (no author names, affiliations, or acknowledgments). A separate Title Page containing author details must be uploaded.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines:
  • The manuscript reports original research that has not been previously published and is not under consideration by any other journal.
  • The manuscript adheres to the formatting and citation guidelines (APA 7th edition) specified in the Author Guidelines.
  • The main manuscript file is fully anonymized for double-anonymous peer review, and a separate Title Page with author details has been prepared.
  • The journal utilizes Turnitin to routinely screen all submissions for plagiarism prior to peer review. Authors confirm the work is free from plagiarism and data fabrication.
  • Copyright & Licensing: Authors understand that they retain copyright of their work, and the article will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) upon acceptance.
  • Publication Fees: Authors acknowledge that Rashad Journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or other publication fees.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets, and other material provided with this submission, and all references have been checked for accuracy.
